  • The Molicel M35A batteries are rechargeable, but make sure that your battery charger is designed for Lithium-ion batteries.  Like all lithium batteries, the Molicel M35A will eventually lose its maximum charge through repeated charging and will need replacing after around 750 charges.  But, unlike many rechargeable batteries, Molicel M35A has a shallow drop-off in maximum charge until toward the very end of their usable life.

    Capacity:

The capacity of a battery is the energy storage capacity and is measured in milliamp/hours.  The higher the capacity, the more energy the battery can hold.  This battery has a capacity of 3500 mAh which means 3500 milliamps of energy can be drawn from it in an hour.  The number of times batteries last between charging is affected by the battery’s efficiency and the demands of your vaping equipment, which can vary.  But in general, the higher the capacity, the longer the battery will last while doing the same amount of work.

    Voltage:

The voltage of a battery refers to the difference in electrical potential between the negative and positive terminals and affects the amount of work the battery can do as well as battery life.  Higher voltage means that the battery uses less current to do the same amount of work.  Batteries with higher voltage are better for vaping as they will have good capacity, current rating, and operating temperatures.

    Operating Temperature:

The operating temperature of a battery tells us how hot the battery will get when it is in use.  If a battery gets too hot, it can damage the battery or even our vaping equipment.  Batteries that operate at low temperatures are safer, last longer, and are more comfortable to use.

    Lifespan:

The lifespan of a rechargeable battery tells us how often it can be used and recharged before it needs replacing.  These batteries have an incredibly good lifespan and still retain a high level of charge even toward the end of their life.  So, these batteries can still be used effectively until they need replacing unlike some which will have a very noticeable drop-off in charge as they get reused.
